Privacy Policy

We built Lazee for families, not for data collection. Here's what we collect, why, and who we share it with. Plain language, no legalese.

1. What we collect

• Email address — used to log you in via magic link or Google.
• Property details — name, description, check-in info, and anything else you enter about your property.
• Booking data — guest names and dates entered when a booking is created.
• Usage data — we use GoatCounter for anonymous, cookie-free analytics. No personal data is collected — just page views and referrers.

2. How we use it

• To operate Lazee — showing you your properties and bookings.
• To send you magic login links when you sign in.
• To send pre-arrival emails to guests (if you've set that up).

We don't use your data for advertising. We don't sell it. Full stop.

3. Third-party services

• Google — if you sign in with Google, your authentication is handled by Google. See Google's Privacy Policy.
• Hostpoint — our hosting provider, based in Switzerland. Your data is stored on Swiss servers.
• Resend — handles transactional email (magic links, guest emails). They process your email address to deliver messages.
• GoatCounter — anonymous, open-source analytics. No cookies, no personal data. See GoatCounter's privacy page.

4. Data retention

• Account data — kept until you delete your account.
• Booking data — kept for 2 years after the booking date, then deleted.

5. Your rights

You can:

• Access — ask us what data we hold about you.
• Correct — update any information that's wrong.
• Delete — delete your account (and associated data) from within the app, or email us and we'll do it.
